EVANSVILLE MUSEUM INTERNATIONAL DRONE FILM FESTIVAL

The Evansville Museum of Arts, History & Science, will host its third International Drone Film Festival on Saturday, June 6. The annual festival offers an international platform for filmmakers to exhibit their jaw-dropping work as well as compete for cash prizes. Screenings of  the official selections of the Festival will be shown on the giant screen of the Museum’s Koch Immersive Theater & Planetarium.

The Drone Film Festival is an internationally acclaimed competition offering an overview of the current trends and techniques in drone cinematography. Two screenings the official selections of the Festival will be shown at 12:30 PM and repeated at 2:30 PM with the announcement of winners taking place at 4:00 PM CDT Cash prizes will be presented for Best of Show, Best Open Category, Best Land, Sky, Water film, Best Show Reel and a People’s Choice Award. Weather permitting, the day also includes educational outdoor drone demonstrations. Applications for submitted films close on May 1, 2020.

General admission to the festival is $12 for Adults and $8 for youth (4-18) and students. Admission to the Festival also includes admission to the Museum.
